A quick 1 minute timer

This is a free 1-minute timer that runs right in your browser. Press Start and a big countdown fills the screen, with an alarm the moment the minute is up. Nothing to install, no sign-up — it works the same on your phone, tablet or computer.

What a 1 minute timer is good for

One minute is the perfect length for anything you want to do intensely and then stop: holding a plank, a set of push-ups or a wall-sit, brushing your teeth properly, a minute of slow breathing, a quick tidy of one surface, a kid's turn at a game, or rehearsing an elevator pitch. It is also a great anti-procrastination trick — promise yourself just one minute on a task, and starting becomes easy.

How to use it

Press play to start the 60-second countdown; press again to pause, or reset to start over. Want a different length or a repeating round? Tap the time to type any minutes and seconds, or press "Add timer" to line up several — say 1 minute on, 30 seconds off — and set them to repeat. Copy the URL to save or share your setup.

Need a different timer?

Chain the 1-minute timer into a repeating interval, or build a longer sequence — TimerTrain is made for running multiple timers in a row. Try the interval timer, the Tabata timer, or build your own timer.

🍩 Prefer something cuter? Try the DonutTimer version — an aesthetic visual timer where the time left is a donut.
